NEW Nipsey Hussle Documentary By British Broadcasting Corp Will Explore Details of Nip’s Tragic Murder

Documentaries about historical personalities is nothing new whether in the Hip-Hop community or otherwise. As the consuming public we tend to have an awe, and many times an inspiration, for people who triumphed in life. We empathize for their humanity and respect their accomplishments. Nipsey Hussle went above and beyond being respected. The man, rest in peace, is a modern day cultural icon. In a world where celebrities rarely show true sympathy for their fans, governments constantly dish out propaganda, major companies bombard the consuming public with slick marketing campaigns (in the case of Volkswagen they flat out lied for years about the standards in their vehicles; for more info see here). In a dog eats dog world, Nipsey Hussle stood out. He loved his woman, Lauren London, and she loved him. A basic romance that seemed to transcend the glamor and glitz and was heavy on family life. Nip also remained rooted, never forgetting where he came from having founded the Vector 90 workspace, the Marathon Clothing store and bought up property in the neighborhood he grew up— staffing it with people from the community. Nipsey Hussle also had no problem calling out the Powers That Be over matters like institutional racism.

If you are an underground Hip-Hop Head then you were familiar with HUSSLE for years. For many people, they became aquatinted with the man after his independent hustle eventually brought him to the national spotlight. Now, nearly one year after his tragic passing, the British Broadcast Corporation (BBC), will air a documentary on Thursday 3/26 about Nipsey Hussle and the tragic murder which ended his physical being. The BBC’s headquarters are in Westminster, London and it is the world’s oldest national broadcaster. In addition, it is the largest broadcaster in the world by number of employees.

“The Mysterious Murder of Nipsey” documentary seeks to explain the many theories around why Eric Holder, Nip’s alleged killer, even needed two guns to shoot down the rapper. It will examine the man Eric Holder, the 29-year-old alleged gang-banger. The documentary will talk also to witnesses who testified about Holder, his dispute with Nipsey Hussle in the parking lot and how the two exchanged words before the ultimate confrontation that ended his life.

“The Mysterious Murder of Nipsey” will appear on the BBC iPlayer.
