Freeway took to social media on 11/9 in order to showcase his intentions to hold Joe Biden accountable moving forward. The Philly rapper captioned his post by tagging Biden and noting,
“We are products of our past, but we don’t have to be prisoners of it. Where I am from everyone’s main focus is to get to the dead presidents. One of my main focuses moving forward is is to build with the the new President elect @joebiden & help him stand on his promise to hold our community down.”
On Wednesday (11/10), Biden, who has been proclaimed President-elect by the Associated Press, delivered a speech calling Trump’s refusal to welcome him as his successor an “embarrassment,” adding it will only tarnish whatever legacy Trump will leave behind.
