On a recent episode of Charlamagne Tha God and Andrew Schulz’s Brilliant Idiotspodcast, Charlamagne stated his discontent with Joe Biden’s battle-rap themed ad featuring Battle Rappers DNA and Charlie Clips. Charlamagne comments came in the context of speaking out against the criticism that the organizers of “BreonnaCon” faced (BreonnaCon was a four-day event working as a resource and information beacon for the movement to arrest the officers who murdered Breonna Taylor).  Charlamagne stated hile defending the event’s organizers at the 44-minute mark,

“They doing the work…If you think that’s lame, but you’re okay with Joe Biden hiring battle rappers to campaign for him, you’re being a hypocrite.”

After Andrew Schultz called the Biden’s politic battle rap-infused ad pathetic, Charlamagne called it disgusting before adding, “What-a-f*****-idiot definitely goes to the Biden campaign. And I know ya’ll get upset with me cause you think I’m always on the Biden campaign’s ass, but it really does bother me how bad Democrats fumble the god**** ball.”

The Breakfast Club host also suggested that the Biden campaign stop pandering to Black-Americans and be more specific with what they’re offering.

“Stop all the gimmicks, stop all the f****** pandering, put the tangibles on the table for the Black community…That’s how you will energize the Black community to come vote. Not doing battle rap ads. No disrespect to Charlie Clips and DNA cause they did a phenomenal job like they always do, they’re super dope, but the fact the campaign went to them to do that is weak to me. If they had did that on their own and it was organically done, I’d respect it.”

Anyone interested can resist the battle rap ad in the video up top. Skip to the 44 minute mark in the video below to watch Charlamagne address the above viewpoints.
