Assistant District Attorney Joan Illuzzi-Orbon spoke to a judge in a Manhattan Supreme Court stating,

“The bottom line, judge, is this man could fly out on a private jet which he does and go to another country.

The DA claims Weinstein has not been able to be tracked on at least 56 separate occasions notwithstanding the fact that he wears a two-part device (a bracelet and a signaling device) and further claims that Weinstein has sold $60 million in property over the past two years, flies on private planes and is a serious flight risk.

Weinstein’s lawyer claim there aren’t enough cell towers near his home to keep his signaling device and bracelet connected in order be tracked.

Weinstein is set to be on trial 1/6/2020 and is facing up to life in prison for five counts of predatory sexual assault, rape, and criminal sex acts.
