YNW Melly Reportedly Confessed To Murdering His 2 Friends

Complex has published a new report stating that the Broward County, Florida court system is reportedly reviewing an audio recording of YNW Melly (legal name: Jamell Demons) confessing to the murder of both of his friends, Christopher “YNW Juvy” Thomas Jr. and Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams.

The “Murder On My Mind” rapper has been in jail for approximately the past two years, where he continues to claim his innocence.  YNW Melly is accused, along with his accomplice YNW Bortlen, of undertaking a drive-by shooting and killing his two YNW affiliates. He reportedly drove around for a bit with their bodies in the car before bringing them to the hospital.

The Complex report explains that a new lawsuit was filed by the families of the YNW Melly’s alleged victims against Melly, his mother, and his manager for millions of dollars. The civil suit would enable a jury, if Melly is proven guilty, to decide if the plaintiffs are liable to receive monetary compensation.

The attorney of murder victim Anthony “YNW Sakchaser” Williams, Todd Baker, states the shooting, “tension began to develop between the once cohesive group of friends about how the money should be distributed. When there are less people splitting up the prospective money, the people on the receiving end will get more.”

Complex further reports that a video exists of YNW Melly allegedly admitting to murder where he reportedly confessed, “There’s no regret for the sh*t that I did for that n***a to die,” According to Broward County Assistant State Attorney Kristine Bradley’s description YNW Melly places a pen to his head as if it were a gun, pretends pulling the trigger, and throws up a Blood gang sign.

The Florida rapper is facing the death penalty if found guilty. We’ll have more on this matter as the details become available.
