A new law in San Francisco reportedly forbids arrests for thefts under a threshold of $950 and instead results in a misdemeanor. A video has gone viral on social media showcasing people, i.e., thieves, in a cosmetics store seemingly helping themselves and literally walking out of the store. The store clerk can be overheard pleading, “please leave the stuff.” Find the clip above.
