Holdin' Down The Culture
As we reported yesterday (1/8) Iran attacked two military bases housing American troops within Iraqi borders. Oil prices went up as a result of anxiety revolving around a potential catastrophic war in the Middle East which could engulf the entire region.
President Trump commented on the matter after the attacks via Twitter, stating,
All is well! Missiles launched from Iran at two military bases located in Iraq. Assessment of casualties & damages taking place now. So far, so good! We have the most powerful and well equipped military anywhere in the world, by far! I will be making a statement tomorrow morning.

World leaders are frantically mediating between the two nations in the background in order to avoid a situation that later becomes uncontrollable. The global economy is still recovering from the 2008 U.S financial crisis and its global ramifications. If events were to collapse at this point there is no reasonably foreseeing how low things can go.
