Nicki Minaj’s Husband Arrested By THE FEDZ For Not Registering As Sex Offender

Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, has been apprehended by U.S. Marshals on an indictment for failing to register as a sex offender, according to TMZ. Petty turned himself over to authorities on California and is expected to appear in court at some point today.

Petty is a native of New York State but has since moved with his wife to California. After a routine traffic stop by the Beverly Hills Police Department back on 11/15/2019 local authorities discovered Petty had yet to register himself as a sex offender in California as is required by law. Afterwards, Petty was arrested and released on a $20,000 bond. The L.A. County district attorney charged him for failing to register as a sex offender. Apparently, Petty continued to ignore the matter which led the FEDZ to get involved and charge him with failing to register as a sex offender.

Petty has a 1995 conviction on his record for first-degree rape for which he served nearly four years in a New York prison. Noteworthy, Petty faces up to 10 years in prison if convicted on the above-mentioned federal charge.

We’ll have more on this matter as the details become available. Find the grand jury document in addition to Petty’s arrest record below.
