French rapper, or in this case rappeur (pronounced raaapir), GIMS, does a great job of showcasing the behind the scenes details the music artist is subjected to by his/ her record label. There’s two things we’d like to highlight before stating our main point. 1) It’s not clear why GIMS is wearing shades inside his home in the beginning of the video. 2) The orange Fanta soda shown in the video is more-than-likely a paid advertisement. That being said, we encourage the viewer to pay very close attention to all the nuances in the following video Le Prix à Payer (which translates to The Price To Pay). Watch the video twice if necessary as the video gives insight into several aspects of an artist’s behind-the-scenes career.
