Obie Trice (legal name: Obie Trice) was arrested early Friday (12/6) following a shooting at the home of his girlfriend in Oakland County, Michigan.
Reports indicate police arrived at the home after neighbors called saying they heard loud noises and yelling. When the responding officers arrived Obie and his girlfriend told police that they got into an argument. The woman explained that her 18-year-old-son was shot in the groin by Obie Trice after getting in the middle of the argument. At which point the teen drove himself to the hospital and it was revealed that he suffered a fractured pelvis from the bullet and is in stable condition.
The veteran Detroit rapper was booked for felony assault with a gun and on violating a restraining order and the file remains under investigation. We’ll have more details on this matter as they become available.
