Young Chop Arrested Outside of Atlanta

The Gwinnett Daily Post announced that Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Lou Solis ordered his deputies to arrest Young Chop (legal name: Tyree Pittman). The official reason for being arrested is due to Young Chop allegedly violating probation on a misdemeanor animal neglect charge. The Gwinnett County Solicitor General Brian Whiteside’s office also stated that Chop was recently accused of allegedly firing a handgun in a street in front of his residence, starving a dog to death, driving without a license or insurance and having an expired tag.

Gwinnett County is located adjacent to Fulton County (where Atlanta is located) and is the second most populous county in the State of Georgia. The Gwinnett Daily Post also reports that Gwinnett County jail records indicate Chop was arrested on an aggravated cruelty to animals-death charge on 2/26 and arrested 4/7 on charges of reckless conduct, driving without a valid license and expired tag/registration. It’s not clear what incident the Chi-Town artist is exactyly accused of “firing a handgun in a street in front of his residence” but Chop previously posted a video of him shooting a gun off from outside his home which you can watch below (jump to the 1:19 mark).

It appears that local authorities are now seeking to reign in on Young Chop as they’ve put out a public plea asking witnesses to come forward who may be able to offer information on the above mentioned allegations by specifically contacting the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office’s Director of Public Relations. This also comes after Young Chop’s IG Live session was used by someone besides Young Chop in order to address certain people living in the area. See that video here.
