“When I was 16 years old, @brothalynchhung told me he would help me make music. He took me to my first studio, where we made three songs from scratch in six hours. We retuned to the studio a week later and did three more. He made sure my songs were mixed and mastered correctly. 🔹
When we did my first EP cover, he sat down and DREW it for me, including changing the spelling of my name from “X-Rated” to “X-Raided” because “it’s more original.” When I second guessed my songs, he told me to be who I was and to speak my truth because “that’s what makes X-Raided special.”
🔹

When I started getting in trouble and going to juvenile hall, Lynch pulled me aside and told me to focus on my music. I didn’t listen and ended up arrested for murder.
🔹
When I was ashamed and afraid that my career was over, Lynch had me record vocals on his answering machine and put me on the title track to his EP “24 Deep,” which kept my name alive. When I said I wanted to make an entire album over the phone, he went to the studio and made sure most of my songs were recorded correctly, the way Mac Dre told me to do it, and Lynch laid the infamous “Liquor, Niggas and Triggas” chorus for me.
🔹
When I was going to court afraid the world was leaving me behind, Lynch made “Season of the Siccness” and represented my name on nearly every song, even though I was hardheaded and felt like it was me against the world.
🔹
When he got the opportunity to jump on a soundtrack for Master P, he used it as an opportunity to say, “I wish my lil brother was out.” When he made “EBK4,” he sampled my vocals and built a chorus for “Catch You.” He also re-recorded my song “Every Single Bitch”.
🔹
Nearly every Lynch album has an X-Raided shoutout on a song or in the credits. Every now and again he’d send me letters and pictures. He always would say, “It’s on when you get out. We going on tour.” 🔹
I had 31 to Life, yet he always told me I was coming home. He believed it. 26 years, 5 months and 26 days later, I walked out of prison and he was there. Now here we are, about to tour! If that ain’t 💯 nothing is. 💪🏾 #brothalynchhung #xraided 📸 @newhighfilmz
