Wu-Tang Clan Theme Park May Come To Fruition

The Wu-Tang saga continues. Not only does the Wu saga continue because each Wu member dropped a solo project we can still listen to (rip ODB) in addition to their group projects, or because the children of the original Wu members (RZA, GZA, Ol’Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Method Man, Masta Killa, Cappadonna, & U-God) continue to carry on tradition, or the #Dope series currently running on Hulu (Wu-Tang: An American Saga), etc. The Clan now has a Wu-Tang-themed theme park that may some day become a reality.

According to the Vice President of Wu-Tang Clan Management Jimmy Kang, the planned theme park will be much closer to the real Shaolin then the Shaolin known by Wu fans as it’s being planned for Seoul, South Korea. Kang, who’s family moved to the USA when he was four-years-old, is negotiating a deal to place the Wu-Tang-themed park there. He shared the news in a MassLive profile of his rise from rap show booker to nightclub owner on to VP of Wu-Tang.

Kang, who was a business man living in Massachusetts, explains how he was approached by The Wu earlier this decade and asked to come to New York City:

“They came and asked me to come up to New York City…I met up with RZA, Freedom, Devine, Mook and Krumbsnatcha. When they approached me, I thought it was unreal.”

For the time being there is no set date on when the development will start nor when it will open for business.
