Now, Westside Gunn will start off 2020 with the right energy by dropping a long-lost mixtape on New Year’s Day. Westside Gunn captioned his post by reflecting on the past while pointing towards the future,

“In 2003-2005 I spent my days Hustling, being a Young dad.. like I really had custody of my kids, and at Death Valley studio trying to become a rapper, studio was filled wit elite MCs, Producers,Hustlers,Killers I got my name WestSideGunn over there bc I would hustle in the west even tho I was from the East and then go to the studio over there, but this project was When ChineGun was living, this was when BENNY was Real Young, and Conway was Kannon, and my Bro Kutt was still rapping, we just young hungry EastSide BUFFALO KIDS trynna to make it, then I had to go on the run and the tape Never came out until NOW, JAN 1st 2020 before I take u where we’re going I have to start from the beginning S/O my Homie Spoonz a Buffalo Legend who opened the 1st doors AND NOW YOUR FINALLYGONNA HEAR CHINEGUN 🤲🏽🤲🏽 #FNIC #SEGANG #Streetent #DeathValley #BUFFALOKIDS #CLASSIC #CULTURE #ART #2005B.F.”
