C-Rayz Walz has been a staple in New York’s underground Hip-Hop scene for over two decades. The way things are looking for the underground emcee, if he’s convicted for the multiple charges he’s facing he could be sent away for just as long.
The 44-year old underground beast (legal name: Waleed Shabazz) has been locked up since last year November on 32 counts which charges ranging from kidnapping to rape to endangering the welfare of a child to robbery and more.

One incident has C-Rayz allegedly kidnapping a woman and strangling her unconscious before penetrating her vaginally and anally.
Another charge as the underground rapper and an accomplice allegedly knocking a man out and robbing his chain. The indictment specifically highlights that Rayz allegedly stomped on his victim with his Timberlands.
C-Rayz’s manager Rebs K.P. explained the following to HipHopDX,
“At this current time, C-Rayz Walz can’t discuss or comment on this allegation. What I can say is that I have known C-Rayz Walz as both his manager and closest friend for six years. I have seen him devote the majority of his time to take care and provide for his son. Walz put his music career on the back burner in order to be the best father he could be. Walz knows what it is like to grow up without a father figure, and also what a perilous time it is to be a black man in America.”
C-Rayz Walz is next due in court on April 15. However, the ongoing coronavirus pandemic will likely push that date back.
