RAP SNACKS Introduces New ‘Icon’ Line Including Notorious B.I.G. and Master P

Notorious B.I.G. is being honored with his own line of potato chips after his foundation and potato chip company Rap Snacks created a partnership. Biggie, along with Master P, will be introduced as part of the snack company’s ‘Icon’ line.

B.I.G.’s mother, Voletta Wallace, partnered with Rap Snacks’ founder James Lindsey to bring about the Biggie Icon brand of chips with proceeds benefiting the Christopher Wallace Foundation. The Big Poppa Cookout BBQ Sauce potato chip and Notorious Honey Jalapeno are the first products in the new Rap Snacks Icon line of chips.

In an interview with Billboard, Ms. Wallace explains,

“I’m happy to announce our partnership with Rap Snacks to create delicious flavored potato chips packaged with my son’s, Notorious BIG moniker and image…Our primary focus in doing this deal was to assure a portion of proceeds of sales are paid to The Christopher Wallace Memorial Foundation to further our efforts of providing computers, books, and other educational tools to inner-city youth as well as assistance to the elderly in the urban communities.”

Some of the sales from Rap Snacks Icon products will also benefit Rap Snacks’ Boss Up Foundation which will coordinate efforts with the Christopher Wallace Foundation to provide support to different organizations with the proceeds from the chips.

Rap Snacks, which James Lindsey owns along with business partner Master P., is currently available in over 4,200 Walmarts and other participating retailers across the United States.
