Public Enemy’s Prof. Griff Addresses Chuck D and Flavor Flav Fall Out

Any fan of not only Public Enemy but of The Culture itself would know that Professor Griff is so militant in his political outlook that he also was asked to leave Public Enemy years ago. Since then, Prof. Griff has patched things up with PE.

Yesterday (3/3), with all the public commotion going on with Chuck D & Flavor Flav and which ultimately ended with Flav being kicked out of PE, Professor Griff took time out of his day while traveling in order to address the ordeal. While speaking, Prof. Griff addresses a recent post from Chuck D which was captioned:

“It’s no longer tolerable to just pontificate and not do shit. People gotta realize, whoever they vote for isn’t going to be Jesus. They should recognize we have a wannabe Hitler in the White House.” – #chuckd

Pontificate means, “to express one’s opinions in a way considered annoyingly pompous and dogmatic.” In other words, Chuck D is implying that sometimes people of strong conviction must become flexible with certain issues which they normally wouldn’t agree to.
