POP SMOKE’S HOMICIDE APPEARS TO BE TARGETED HIT; NOT ROBBERY

Reports are now indicating that Pop Smoke’s shooting death was a targeted hit, as opposed to a robbery. TMZ, who first broke the story of the Brooklyn rapper’s tragic murder, says surveillance video supports the idea that Pop Smoke was the victim of a beef gone bad.

TMZ reports to have been instructed by people who have seen the surveillance video that four men approach the home around 4:30 AM (2/19) and sneak around back. After 3 or 4 minutes three of the four invaders walk back towards the front of the home. TMZ reports the 4th suspect is presumed to have walked in through the back door considering that this suspect is only later witnessed on camera leaving through the front door (but not entering the home via the front door as opposed to the other three alleged invaders).

It also being reported that the invaders do not appear to leave the home with any possessions. In other words, the incident does not appear to be a robbery. Inside the home, only Pop Smoke was shot. The late rapper was then rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was later pronounced deceased.

Mike Dee, the man pictured with Pop Smoke in a social media post prior to the rapper’s shooting death, later took to social media to express his thoughts. Catch that post below.
