Playboi Carti has reportedly been arrested on gun and drug charges after being pulled over by police.
Playboi’s arrest reportedly took place on 4/2 after authorities discovered twelve bags of weed, Xanax, codeine, and oxycodone in the rapper’s Lamborghini. In addition, Clayton County Sheriff’s allegedly also found three guns. Carti and another person in the automobile, Jaylon Tucker, were arrested and taken to Clayton County Jail. Atlanta is situated in Clayton County.
Carti was charged with improperly passing an emergency vehicle and not putting a proper decal on his license plate. The rapper was hit with a marijuana possession charge. The rapper’s manager noted he was released shortly after being arrested. Tucker is currently still being held in custody for multiple drug and gun charges.
