During Eddie Murphy’s first appearance on Saturday Night Live since 1984, Murphy throw in a joke about Bill Cosby, who remains imprisoned. In response, Cosby’s publisict stated Murphy was a “Hollywood slave” essentially implying that Murphy’s SNL return was conditioned on clowning another Black man.
After the “Hollywood slave” remarks TMZ caught up with Nicole Murphy, Eddie’s ex-wife, who commented on the remarks while throwing in a slick diss of Cosby by suggesting one need not look any further than who is in jail and who isn’t. Catch the video below.
