Newark, New Jersey elected Mayor Ras Baraka for a reason – he gets things done. Baraka has been serving as Newark’s Mayor since 2014. Before that, Baraka previously served the community as an educator and is also an author. Most importantly, Newark’s Mayor has a reputation for getting things done.
After a video went viral of a group of youngsters openly defying Newark’s coronavirus-related city-wide curfew, Baraka personally chased down the young man witnessed in the viral video refusing to be quarantined and escorted him to court in order to apologize to the judge. Watch both videos below.
