Nas took to social media in order to pay tribute to his artist Kiing Shooter who passed away on May 5th. The 24-year-old Queensbridge-bred rapper reportedly contracted coronavirus after initially being treated in the hospital for liver issues.
Nas captioned the post by stating, “@kiingshooter You made your mark and got your wings/On many hearts, you pulled their strings
From QB to Heaven, the world in between/What a pleasure to have you, in our lives, in this world, in our world/We shared our street dreams. Condolences to @kiingshooter family and friends.”
Kiing Shooter (birth name: William Daniels) developed a serious interest for rapping in 2017 and made multiple appearances on Dave East’s mixtapes, after East started his own label “From The Dirt” in March 2018. Shooter dropped his debut Solo LP ‘Still Outside’ dropped on 3/27/2020 on Nas’ Mass Appeal record label. Kiing Shooter rest in peace. The freestyle below is from November 2019.
