The emotional support of love for Kobe Bryant continues to flow throughout the various media channels after the tragic passing of the NBA All-Time great. One fan even started a petition on Change.org to encourage the NBA to change its longstanding logo from Jerry West to Kobe Bryant. Coincidentally, West played 14 seasons (1960-74) with the Lakers and coached the them for three seasons (1976-79).
The petition reads, “With the untimely and unexpected passing of the great Kobe Bryant please sign this petition in an attempt to immortalize him forever as the new NBA Logo.”
