NBC New York is reporting on the tragic fatal stabbing of a librarian who was stabbed to death after requesting a patron turn down his music. The incident took place in Spring Valley which is a suburb of NYC and located just a few miles from the New Jersey border.
Blanchard Glaudin
52-year-old Sandra Wilson had worked as a security guard for more than 10 years before Blanchard Glaudin, 25, decided to take her life only because Ms. Wilson requested Glaudin turn down the music in headphones at around 2 p.m. on the third floor of the Finklestein Library on 2/19, according to police.
Glaudin reportedly became aggravated with the request and attacked Wilson with a 6-inch blade stabbing her multiple times. The man then attempted to escape but was apprehended by two witnesses who held him down until police arrived on the scene.
The woman was then transported to the Good Samaritan Hospital where she was pronounced deceased. Indeed, rest in peace Ms. Sandra Wilson.
