T.I. has been the recipient of a wrath of criticism from the feminist community, including Triple OG of the feminist movement, Gloria Stienem, who accused Tip of violating his daughter’s “human rights.” One celebrity female who also happens to be a dope emcee, Rah Digga. has come forward publicly to support the ATL rapper and successful father. Rah Digga made her views known on social media after her home state moved forward with legislation to criminalize doctors who perform hymen checks on females, even if it comes at the request of a parent (read about that here).

“So on top of it being criminal for parents to discipline their children they’re trying to make it criminal to monitor their sex lives? FOH!! I STAND WITH @Tip”

Rah Digga continued to express her point of view in follow-up tweets.
What's sick are the leaps and bounds society is taking to remove parental structuring and people justifying it. Same society won't have shit to say when that kid comes home pregnant and abortions are illegal. That's that on that!! https://t.co/3aAacKW8R1

In the following tweet Digga admits to taking her daughter to have her hymen checked.
Well I did it and guess what? When I found out she wasn't anymore did I berate her..No. Did I kick her out the house..No. I was able to have a convo where she openly told me what it was. And i emphasized being safe. And life went on… https://t.co/1EVpsxLOl8

So the real problem is her age? Would it be less outrageous if she was 13 or 14? https://t.co/qUXph3ECuQ

Humans gonna human. It's no perfect way to parent. What I do know is anybody I know with a young daughter cares if she's a virgin or not. However they figure it out or what they do w that knowledge is none of my business. https://t.co/ZgPcOKVi5M

When you have a son you have 1 penis to worry about. When you have a daughter you have EVERYBODY penis to worry about. https://t.co/zRT9l654jH

I think this falls more in line w the "sheltered" girls. You can have lenient parents where everything in the world ain't a shock and still be overprotective enough to make them think twice about things. https://t.co/u61qkJpjZm

I agree with all of this. But part of that protection comes from monitoring certain situations and being aware of shit. https://t.co/HmkBRf8SZD

I truly feel sorry for the parents trying to raise children in this era. Really I do.

In the following tweet Digga tells her detractors how her daughter is grateful to Digga for being a concerned, loving parent.
So I just got a call from my daughter amidst the online banter. She said "Thank you for being you Mom. I'm a better woman for it!" Full time student, full time job, her own car, crib and ain't thinking about having kids till she finish her degrees. That's all the cosign I need đź’Ż
