Kodak Black Up To 20 Years in Federal Firearms Case

Kodak Black (legal name: Bill K. Kapri) will be sentenced this week for his federal firearms case. Kodak will be sentenced for two separate counts and is facing a maximum of 10 years on each count. He’s accused of breaking federal laws by allegedly falsifying documents in order to obtain multiple firearms on more than one occasion earlier in 2019. One of the guns was eventually found at the scene of a shooting in the rapper’s hometown, Pompano Beach, Florida.

Kodak Black bypassed a trial and plead guilty in the case after first pleading not guilty. Government prosecutors are reportedly recommending Kodak Black be sentenced on the “low end of the guideline range.” The rapper’s fate, however, will ultimately be determined by the judge.
