Ever since being sentenced to 46 months in prison Kodak Black (legal name: Bill Kapri) has been facing reoccurring legal (and other) challenges. Kodak reportedly got into a fight while in prison and ended up allegedly squeezing the testicles of a C/O during the altercation. The South Florida rapper would later claim he’s the victim of a conspiracy which stems from people trying to find reasons to sue him. It’s not uncommon for for inmates and correction officers to attempt to bully celebrities inside prison. Seems like Kodak isn’t having it.
Earlier this week, Kodak Black received news he was being served with paperwork from a promoter based in Arizona attempting to collect almost $100,000 from him. Fitts initially sued Kodak for $500,000 over shows which Kodak never showed up to including one scheduled performance where the rapper was in jail at the time. Fitts was eventually awarded a judgement of $91,000 and is now aggressively seeking to collect.

Process servers, better known as service of process is the procedure by which a party to a lawsuit gives an appropriate notice of initial legal action to another party. As part of his attempt to collect the $91,000 judgement ordered in his favor, Fitts is also seeking information about the rapper’s earnings from Warner Music Group and BMI.
