Multiple reports are indicating Houston rapper Maxo Kream’s brother, Money Madu, was shot and killed in Los Angeles yesterday (3/9).
KTLA out of Los Angeles reported that an unidentified man who’s originally from Richmond, Texas (situated 30 minutes southwest of Houston) was shot and killed in his Woodland Hills apartment on early Monday morning around 4:25 AM. Officers reporting on the shooting found the 27-year-old victim dead upon arrival inside of the apartment. Witnesses claim the victim went outside before returning and declaring that he had been shot, leading to the victim’s roommate to call 911. Woodland Hills is a neighborhood bordering the Santa Monica Mountains in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, California
Police are now on the lookout for surveillance in the area and additional evidence which could assist in the investigation. No arrests have been made. Maxo Kream is a known Crip however there’s no word on whether or not the reported killing is gang related.
