Harvey Weinstein, who not that long ago seemed to be on top of the (Hollywood) world is now serving jail time at Ryker’s Island. TMZ reports being instructed of Weinstein’s transfer to Ryker’s by the Senior Dept. of Corrections where the convicted rapist will be staying at least until Weinstein’s sentencing this upcoming week (3/11). TMZ further reports Weinstein is situated on the 6th floor of the main building of the North Infirmary Command. The floors houses 30 beds but Weinstein is sole inmate on the entire floors for security reasons. In addition, 24-hour security system is in place along with 24/7 medical care and an attending medical physician is always available.
Weinstein, otherwise, has access to typical inmate allowances such as one hour of recreation time per day, access to the law library and religious services. He also gets heart-healthy options for breakfast, lunch and dinner but can select junk food from the commissary. Weinstein completed heart surgery this past week.
