Gayle King Responds To Criticisms; Blame TV Network

Gayle King woke up this morning (2/6) and couldn’t help but notice the criticisms being leveled at her after not only bring up charges that were dropped against Kobe Bryant in a court of law but prefacing her question in an interview with WNBA-great and Kobe Bryant friend, Lisa Leslie, by stating, “his legacy is complicated because of sexual assault charges..” 50 Cent and Snoop Dogg responded to Gayle King (see here).

Ms. King explained to USA Today,

“I understand why people are upset seeing that clip out of context…I hope they will now watch the entire wide-ranging interview. We asked a longtime friend of Kobe Bryant’s to talk to us about his legacy and their friendship and Lisa Leslie did exactly that.”
