Video footage appeared of what appears to be Chief Keef (legal name: Keither Farrelle Cozart) being apprehended while in Mexico by local authorities before other footage appears of the Chicago-rapper being detained by American authorities. Specifically Customer Border & Patrol Officers (CBPOs) are witnessed in the video. CBPOs are part of the US Customs and Border Protection agency, which is the largest law enforcement agency within the US Department of Homeland Security. CBP Officers are federal employees.

While there is no confirmation the situation went down in Mexico, the video footage showcases what seems to be a Pemex gas station, which can only be found in Mexico. We’ll have more details on the matter as the become available. Catch the video clip up top.
