Cardi B dropped her Invasion of Privacy in April of 2018. The project was an instant mainstay on the Billboard 200. At the time, Invasion of Privacy was the second-biggest debut of the year. Cardi continued to dominate the pop charts and by September 2018 the album was the third-biggest selling Hip-Hop album of 2018. Only Drake’s Scorpion and Beerbongs & Bentleys by Post Malone outsold Invasion of Privacy.
This led to Cardi B celebrating her sales on 9/12/2018 while throwing shade meant for Nicki Minaj, “NUMBERS DONT F*CKIN LIE 🗣🗣🗣🗣”
If numbers didn’t lie then, then numbers don’t lie now. Just this week Chart Date posted the following information,
.@iamcardib's 'Invasion of Privacy' is now the longest charting debut album by a female rapper in Billboard 200 history outright, surpassing 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' (92 weeks).

This time Cardi B celebrated with humility, considering she’s the top mainstream female rapper in the game in 2020.
“Thank you everybody ! Hopefully by the time I put my second album out IOP still charting .It will be dope to have two albums charting at the same time ! Ugh THE PRESSURE ! Thank you for the love .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️BGBGBG!”
Cardi alluded to another project she’s supposed to drop this year.
