It’s being reported that Atlanta rapper T.I. has been assigned a starring role in a major motion picture based on the water crisis in Flint, MI.
On Tuesday (June 11th), Deadline announced on that Tip will star in a film titled Flint. The movie, which is produced by Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment, will be based on a fictional story about a spiritually reformed man who has just came home from prison and who who finds himself entangled in a murder mystery while the polluted water crises rage on in his hometown of Flint.
T.I. has been handling his business on the Hollywood actor tip. Just last summer, he was in the hit show Ant-Man and the Wasp. This year, TIP will star alongside Eddie Murphy in a biopic on Dolemite, Dolemite Is My Name, as well as a movie directed by Wu Tang’s RZA’s Cut Throat City, and Paul W.S. Anderson’s upcoming film Monster Hunter.
