Fat Joe took to Twitter recently in what appears to be him correcting a tweet posted earlier by both New York News and Page Six, both media companies are based in New York.

Fat Joe's sneaker business partner Scott Spina, 21, was recently sentenced to three years for stealing credit card information from customers and making personal purchases. Spina, aka "Scotty Kickz, partnered with the Bronx legend to open Up NYC in Washington Heights (Uptown NYC) in 2016, which had a high-end clientele of celebrities and professional athletes.
Spina pleaded guilty to obtaining or seeking to obtain more than $550,000 in cash or goods. He was also sentenced to three years of supervised release and ordered to pay restitution of $516,396.33.
