Black Thought Drops Powerful New Track Dedicated To Trayyvon Martin

Black Thought pays homage to the memory and spirit of  Trayvon Martin in the "Rest in Power" video, which is the title track for the JAY-Z produced docuseries set to premiere July 30th on the Paramount Network.

The video begins with a snippet of the conversation between the dispatcher and George Zimmerman.  From there Black Thought begins to rap.  The following are some of the lyrics:

Rest in power, rest in paradise If I could change matters, I would spare a life
'Cause lives matter, there's clearly nothing as dear as life
You have become a symbol in the spirit life
Rest in power, rest in paradise
If I could change matters, I would spare a life
'Cause lives matter, there's clearly nothing as dear as life
You have become a symbol in the spirit life

The video highlights Black Thought rapping in front of projections of Trayvon Martin, protests, and Colin Kaepernick kneeling. You can check out complete video below.
