6ix9ine is adding to his legal team.
The “snitch” rapper has hired attorney Alex Spiro to represent him in his continuing federal racketeering case. XXL obtained court records that indicate Spiro has joined 6ix9ine’s legal team. Spiro previously represented high-profile clients including JAY-Z, Bobby Shmurda, Matt Barnes, Thabo Sefolosha, and the late former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez.
JAY-Z and Roc Nation recently hired Spiro to assist 21 Savage with his immigration case, which eventually resulted in his release from ICE custody and is also representing Bobby Shmurda in his conspiracy and weapons possession case.
JAY-Z appointed Spiro to help the family of Dravon Ames, a 22-year-old man who was threatened by a Phoenix police officer.
