Bill Gates is known for applying much time, money and other resources towards the study of infectious diseases. The multi-billionaire Microsoft co-founder recently appeared on the Daily Show (Live version) with Trevor Noah and addressed how the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is combating the ongoing Coronavirus “pandemic” and efforts to find a suitable vaccine. Gates also gave a prediction on when the United States would re-open for business as usual.

Needless to say, the Internet is full of conspiracy theories and Bill Gates is usually the prime target of their wrath. Gates has faced backlash about his involvement in the Coronavirus vaccine effort and responded to the backlash during a recent interview while on CCTV addressing the “Bill Gates conspiracy” that claims COVID-19 was made from “the process of vaccine development” under his supervision. China Central Television (CCTV) is the predominant state-owned television network in Mainland China.
Gates states, “It’s ironic if you take someone who is doing their best to get the world ready, and putting in billions of dollars into these tools for infectious diseases and really trying to solve broadly infectious diseases, including those that can cause pandemics.”
Gates continues, “We’re in a crazy situation, so there are going to be crazy rumors.” He also noted that whichever country has the best vaccine to cure the disease should make it without just focusing on one country, but the world as a whole” Catch the clip above below.
