Holdin' Down The Culture
The tragedy of Kobe Bryant, along with the eight other passengers on board that helicopter, has caught America’s attention like no event in recent memory. The reality is that three different sets of parents & children were on board that helicopter in addition to the pilot, Mr. Ara Zobayan. Kobe Bryant along with his 13-year-old daughter Gianna; baseball coach John Altobelli, his wife Keri and their daughter (and Gianna’s teammate) Alyssa; mother and daughter Sarah and Payton Chester. Peyton was also the teammate of both Gianna and Alyssa. Mamba Academy basketball coach Christina Mauser was also on board the helicopter.
