6ix9ine Will Have To Continue Working w/ FEDZ Upon Release From Prison

6ix9ine’s snitching days are reportedly not over. The CB4 rapper will have to continue cooperating with the U.S. Attorney’s Office despite being released from prison, according to TMZ.

The media outlet reports the U.S. Attorney’s Office can reach out to Tekashi for any information that might be relevant for future or ongoing investigations. Additional conditions for 6ix9ine’s release from prison included five years of supervised release, a $35,000 fine, and 300 hours of community service. He’s also been ordered to enroll in an outpatient mental health program as a stipulation for his release.

On Wednesday (12/18), 6ix9ine was sentenced to two years in federal prison for his racketeering charges. His attorney Lance Lazarro then stated with time served Tekashi will be home by July 2020.

The judge overseeing 6ix9ine’s case praised the world-renown government witness upon sentencing him, stating,

“You are in custody for 13 months. I agree you deserve a great deal of credit for cooperation,….However, I cannot agree with your counsel that time served it appropriate. In my judgment, your conduct is too violent and selfish to make 13 months reasonable. You will not be going free today.”

“Before you, the gang didn’t fight with rap entourages. They had no independent interest in going after musicians and their management groups…I reject the portrait of you as a passive participant.”

As they say in the streets, snitching is a lifetime sentence.
