6ix9ine Likely to Be Granted Early Release From Prison Today Due To Coronavirus

As the Coronavirus continues to spread in the United States, the “pandemic” has made its way into America’s prisons and has effected both inmates and correction officers alike. One prisoner seeking an early release is infamous snitch Tekashi 6ix9ine. As we previously reported back on 3/23 Tekashi’s lawyer, Lance Lazarro, petitioned Judge Paul A. Engelmayer to release his client, who has asthma, “Given that Mr. Hernandez is at very high risk of death or serious complications [due to asthma] if he contracts the Coronavirus, please issue an order modifying his sentence to allow him to begin home confinement immediately….”

6ix9ine isn’t the only prisoner seeking to get out jail ASAP. Bill Cosby put out a post, written by his publicist, seeking the same thing (see here).

Complex reports, “6ix9ine himself looks almost certain to get out early as well….We’ve looked at court documents and talked to 6ix9ine’s attorney Lance Lazzaro directly.”

Tekashi’s original release date from the Bureau of Prisons system is Sunday, 8/2 but that may change today. If the prosecutors, who 6ix9ine went above and beyond to help as a government witness while snitching against his co-defendents, don’t argue against Tekashi being granted home release then Judge Engelmayer is expected to agree to move forward and allow 6ix9ine to serve the remainder of his sentence on home release.

We’ll have more details on this matter when they become available.
