Law Enforcement Seized and Destroyed $1 Billion Worth of Illegal Marijuana in CA

According to reports, a joint effort between the California Department of Fish and Wildfire and the FBI saw the confiscation and eradication of approximately 100 million marijuana plants covering 459 acres in Arvin, CA. The plants were supposed to be grown for industrial hemp but the investigation allegedly indicates otherwise. The LA Times reports that the plants in question tested “well above” the legal limit of 0.3 percent THC limit.

Authorities estimate that the entire haul is worth $1 billion in street value. Catch the new clip below.
